Dr. Jose Munoz was born and raised in Cuba and moved to the United States at the age of 15. Despite initial language barriers, he excelled academically and attended Swarthmore College, one of the most prestigious liberal arts schools in the country. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2009.
Professional Experience
Dr. Munoz completed his internships and residencies in surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He further specialized in plastic surgery during his fellowship at Temple University Hospital. He currently practices in Lauderhill, Florida, and is affiliated with multiple hospitals, including Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
